After reports surfaced that Governor Alex Otti criticized Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu over the demolition of Igbo-owned properties in Lagos Trade Fair, one user reacted by saying, “Our Igbo brothers too are really fucking up. What will happen if they come in Igbo land and develop it as business area.”

While this comment raises a point about regional development, its tone is unnecessarily harsh and divisive. It unfairly blames the victims of the demolition rather than addressing the injustice itself. Encouraging Igbos to invest more in their homeland is a valid idea, but it should not come from a place of frustration or insult — development should be discussed constructively, not through self-blame or hostility.
