This kind of remark is deeply disrespectful and dismissive. It ignores the fact that soldiers are humans too, capable of being caught off guard, overwhelmed, or even betrayed by those closest to them. Suggesting that his death is a result of weak “survival instinct” shows a lack of empathy and understanding of real-life situations. No profession or strength can shield anyone from the cruelty of domestic violence.
