In response to a debate under a divisive post claiming that “Yoruba don’t need Ibo land to thrive,” one user tried to correct the narrative by stating that it’s mostly Lagos people visit, not all of Yorubaland. Shockingly, the original poster replied, “Your immigrant people full all over Yoruba land to kpai una too dey easy.” This hateful and violent remark promotes ethnic hostility and even suggests harm toward an entire group. Such rhetoric is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. Disagreement should never turn into threats or tribal attacks. Online spaces must foster understanding — not fuel violence or ethnic hatred.
