An account notorious for spreading bigotry on X stirred division once again with the post, “Bitter truth… Yoruba don’t need Ibo land to thrive, Ibo need Yoruba land to thrive.” Such a statement is not only false but dangerously divisive. It attempts to rank tribes by perceived dependence, fueling unnecessary rivalry between groups that have coexisted and contributed to each other’s progress for decades. Nigeria’s growth has always been built on intertribal cooperation — in business, culture, and innovation. Comments like this don’t promote truth; they spread hate and insecurity. Unity, not superiority, remains the real foundation for national progress.
