Comment:

“Just imagine someone drops a bomb in a central mosque during Jumu’ah. This country will burn. We need that. I think Christians have been too calm.”

Why This Comment Is Dangerous

This is an extremely reckless and inflammatory statement. Calling for a bomb attack on a mosque isn’t just “an opinion”—it’s an open invitation to mass violence, religious war, and the death of innocent people. Nigeria has already suffered too much from extremist attacks; encouraging another one, especially in a sacred place of worship, is how full–scale chaos starts.

The idea that “we need that” glorifies retaliation and paints violence as a solution, which is exactly the mindset that fuels terrorism. No religious group benefits from bloodshed, and no community “wins” when innocent lives are lost. Comments like this don’t defend Christians—they only endanger them further by escalating tensions and risking devastating reprisals.

This kind of rhetoric is dangerous, divisive, and completely unacceptable.
