Why This Comment Is Dangerous
This kind of comment is exactly how a tragic situation becomes a full-blown religious war. Encouraging Christians to “get guns,” “go to the bushes,” and “wipe out” anyone is a direct call for violence, not protection. It turns a national security crisis into a tribal and religious battle, where innocent people on all sides end up paying the price.
Terrorist attacks require professional, coordinated security responses—not civilians arming themselves and acting like militias. That path leads only to more bloodshed, chaos, and retaliation. Nigeria’s problems with terrorism are already severe; adding vigilante warfare into the mix would make the situation uncontrollable.
Pain and fear are understandable, but calls like this are reckless and extremely dangerous.
