After the EFCC arrested a female Archbishop for alleged Naira abuse, another comment popped up saying: “Humm make them carry this agility go Kebbi state now far because them too dey carry gun.”
In other words, the person was urging EFCC officials to drop their actual mandate and go fight terrorists simply because they were seen holding rifles.

This kind of comment dangerously oversimplifies Nigeria’s security crisis. Every agency has its role — EFCC is not the military, not DSS, not anti-terrorism. Suggesting they “carry their agility” to terrorist zones sounds bold online, but it’s not practical or responsible. It trivializes the real risks security agents face and reduces a complex national problem to social-media hot takes.

Accountability matters, but misdirecting agencies won’t fix insecurity.
