Another reaction to the attack on Governor Alex Otti’s convoy simply read: “APC at work.”
This kind of blanket accusation is one of the major problems with public discourse today. Instead of condemning the violence itself or demanding proper investigation, the commenter immediately attributes the attack to an entire political party without a single shred of evidence. It’s an irresponsible leap that fuels political hostility and deepens partisan divides.
Comments like this also trivialize insecurity by turning acts of violence into political banter. They create an atmosphere where citizens assume every crime is orchestrated by one political party or the other, which not only misleads the public but also shifts the conversation away from accountability, security reform, and justice.
Blaming a whole political party without proof doesn’t solve insecurity—it only spreads hatred, misinformation, and unnecessary political tension.
