A discussion arose after a lady shared a video about a woman who left her three-month-old baby with the father after he cheated. When the man later returned the child, her family reportedly asked him to leave with the baby. The post invited public opinion, but one comment stood out: “No sane woman will leave her 3 month baby to a man. Her parents are very irresponsible.”
This response is deeply problematic. It labels the woman as mentally unsound without understanding her emotional, psychological, or situational state. It also unfairly condemns her parents without full context. Postpartum emotions, betrayal, and family dynamics are complex and cannot be reduced to insults.
More troubling is the assumption that a father is inherently unfit to care for his own child. Such comments reinforce gender bias and ignore shared parental responsibility. Sensitive situations like this require empathy and nuance, not harsh judgments and name-calling.
