The exposure of self-acclaimed billionaire socialite Nzube Hney Ikeji for allegedly scamming a Romanian woman of $2.5 million has continued to reveal troubling attitudes online. Beyond attempts to justify or trivialize fraud, some reactions now openly promote criminal intent.
One such comment read: “Abeg where una dey catch all these sure clients?? Make una show me the way small… Abeg.” Here, the victim is disturbingly referred to as a “client,” as if fraud were a legitimate business.
This mindset is alarming. It openly seeks guidance on committing crime and completely dehumanizes victims. Fraud is not a skill to be learned or shared—it is theft, plain and simple. Comments like this show how glamorizing scammers breeds imitation, erodes moral boundaries, and normalizes exploitation. Society cannot afford to treat crime as mentorship or hustle without consequences.
