Such an indifferent response overlooks the fundamental issue: the protection of children’s rights and well-being. Turning a blind eye to child exploitation, simply because it is happening elsewhere, shows a troubling lack of empathy. Human rights issues transcend borders and should be confronted universally. Remaining silent implies complicity, allowing harmful practices to persist unchallenged, despite their detrimental effects on vulnerable lives.
