A Post claimed Omotola made a statement using the Igbos as an example to Yorubas for not taking sides and always being impartial and asked the Yorubas to also do better. One user then commented “Yoruba people and tribalism are 5and6.. they will lie with witness sef..” Generalising the notion that the Yoruba people are inherently tribalistic is unfair and dismisses the people who are accommodating and supportive to individuals regardless of their tribe, those seeking fairness in all they do. Tribalism is a phenomenon that is not particular to one tribe.
