A Video of a lady who explained her ordeal in the hands of Nigerian Scammers was met with a lot of compassion while some tried to justify the act of scamming. A comment by @charlessopuru_0 read, “Nigerians wouldn’t be scamming if the country was good trust me, so don’t blame anyone for their decision.” This comment simply took accountability from the scammers and placed on the government. while there is some element of truth, the comment ignores the complexities involved, like scammers who live in well-developed countries with job opportunities available.
