The comment, “If every man in Nigeria conducts DNA test on their children, over 60 percent will know that what they have are someone’s children,” perpetuates a harmful and unsubstantiated stereotype about Nigerian families. Such claims lack evidence and unfairly cast suspicion on women, fostering mistrust in relationships and families. While paternity fraud is a real issue, exaggerating its prevalence does nothing to address it constructively.
