In response to the acquittal of a Christian woman accused of blasphemy, a comment stated, “Religion is a man-made tool to keep man under mental slavery and to use man against man.”
This perspective, while rooted in frustration, overlooks the positive roles religion plays in offering hope, community, and moral guidance. True, some misuse religion to exploit or divide, but the fault lies with individuals, not the institution itself.
