Following the horrifying case of a woman and her pastor conspiring to murder, one comment declared, “Nigerian pastors are the most wicked and heartless set of men you will ever find.”
While the crime is undeniably appalling, such sweeping generalizations do more harm than good. Not every pastor embodies wickedness; many serve as pillars of hope and guidance in their communities. Condemning an entire group based on the actions of a few fosters mistrust and division.
