Three Nigerians recently featured on the Forbes List of 50 Wealthiest Black Americans, a testament to the incredible talent and resilience emerging from the country. However, a comment read: “These people no longer call themselves Nigerians but Americans. What is your point?”
This sentiment undermines the pride their success brings to Nigeria. Whether or not they hold dual citizenship, their achievements reflect their roots and inspire millions. Instead of dismissing their accomplishments, we should celebrate them as proof of Nigeria’s potential.
