The comment, “They is a saying that customers are always right, passengers too are always right,” blindly sides with the passenger without considering the facts of the Ibom Air incident. While the phrase “customers are always right” emphasizes good service, it does not mean customers or passengers can act without regard for rules, safety, or respect.
In aviation, passenger conduct is critical to safety, and staff have a duty to enforce regulations. Automatically taking the customer’s side can undermine authority, encourage unruly behavior, and compromise safety. Fair judgment should be based on evidence, not blanket loyalty to one party.
