After the shocking CCTV footage of a house help urinating in a plate, one disturbing comment read: “kill the witch.” While her actions are undeniably unacceptable and unhygienic, calling for her to be killed is extreme and dangerous. There could be underlying reasons behind her behavior—ranging from ignorance, poor training, or even health-related issues. Sometimes, proper guidance, education, or discipline is the real solution, not jungle justice. Resorting to violence dehumanizes the individual and sets a harmful precedent. Instead of promoting brutality, conversations should center on accountability, correction, and prevention of such acts in the future.
