On the disturbing post where a man confessed to killing his girlfriend after she reported him to the EFCC, one shocking response came from a lady who wrote: “I love you bro 😘.” This is deeply troubling because it glorifies violence and sends the wrong message — that taking a life can still earn admiration or affection. Supporting or romanticizing a murderer not only disrespects the victim whose life was unjustly cut short, but also encourages others to trivialize crime. Murder should never be normalized or celebrated. Justice, accountability, and empathy must always come first.
