That comment — “As I keep saying, a lot of African men won’t survive in Europe… The rape you get away with in your country, you will be jailed in a white man’s land or worse.” — is a dangerous and unfair generalisation. It paints millions with the brush of a few criminals and ignores that sexual violence exists in every society.

Holding individuals accountable is right, but blaming an entire continent fuels racism and xenophobia. Better criticism is specific: call out legal failures, demand reform, and support survivors everywhere. Generalised insults only deepen division and silence victims who need justice—not scapegoating.
