After Comfort Emmanson’s release, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor offered her an all-expense-paid trip to the Delta State Media Summit and a ₦500k/month job. While many criticized him for not offering similar opportunities to people within the community, one comment crossed the line, stating, “That breast must cause problems for this country.”

This remark is sexist, objectifying, and completely unrelated to the discussion. Instead of addressing the fairness or merit of the offer, it reduces the woman to her body, promoting disrespect and misogyny. Such comments harm public discourse and demean women everywhere.
