A man made a deeply negative and self-defeating comment on a political post, stating, “Black skin countries can never ever have good leaders in power.” This kind of statement is not only untrue but also rooted in internalized racism and hopelessness. It unfairly generalizes entire nations and peoples, ignoring the progress, resilience, and leadership that have emerged across the African continent and other Black-majority countries.
By declaring that good leadership is impossible in Black nations, such comments discourage change, insult capable leaders, and fuel a narrative of inferiority. What we need is accountability, vision, and unity—not self-hate disguised as political commentary.
