A comment read, “Check it with what? Because I don’t understand her point. Abi you want to turn into lesbianism with your own daughters?” in response to a pastor’s wife’s suggestion of checking daughters’ virginity through an invasive method.
While the concerns about such an invasive practice are valid, accusing the mother of lesbianism takes the criticism too far and shifts the focus away from the real issue. It is possible to disagree with harmful or outdated practices without resorting to extreme and baseless accusations.
