Labeling all Dangote truck drivers as “hire killers” is a harmful generalization. While the reckless actions of an unlicensed driver that led to a young graduate losing her legs is tragic and unacceptable, it’s important to focus on accountability without spreading stereotypes. Such comments can fuel bias against all drivers in the company, including those who follow the rules. The real conversation should center on enforcing strict licensing, safety training, and monitoring of heavy-duty drivers. Justice for victims comes through systemic reform and proper punishment for offenders—not blanket condemnation that unfairly targets innocent workers.
