The comment, “As a last ditch effort, whip am one for cheek out of love, the way a parent will discipline a child,” advising a man to slap his wife in the name of “tough love,” is deeply troubling. Domestic violence, in any form, is never justified, and equating physical harm with discipline undermines the fundamental values of respect and equality in a relationship.
