Following the arrest of a mother and son by the NDLEA for dealing in cannabis, one violent and reckless comment read: “Abeg free this woman joor… omo na to dey kpai all this stupid NDLEA EFCC.” This is extremely dangerous. Calling for the killing of law enforcement officers not only promotes violence but also undermines national security. NDLEA and EFCC officers are tasked with enforcing the law and protecting society from crimes that harm communities. Disagreeing with government policies is one thing, but inciting violence is criminal and irresponsible. Real change comes through dialogue and reform, not bloodshed and chaos.
