A shocking incident on X recently captured the attention of many after a user recounted a near-tragic accident on Lagos roads in the early hours of the morning. The post detailed how two white Mercedes-Benz cars, apparently speeding recklessly, caused a serious crash that left one of the vehicles engulfed in flames. Thankfully, some street boys nearby were able to help extinguish the fire, preventing further tragedy.
The post read:
“So, I was hungry around 2am, drove to get food. Got to Admiralty, saw two white Benz side by side, I had to use my horn so I could pass since they were both blocking the way. While I got to Lekki Epe expressway, I saw the two white Benz overtake me again. The speed both cars were moving with was too much, they almost hit each other, so the one on the left tried moving left to avoid the other car, next thing I saw was the car on the other side of the road, the car flew, and hit a pavement on the other side, caught fire immediately. Luckily, some street boys were outside so they helped put off the fire. GLE 63 just got damaged like that. Y’all better be driving with your brain, don’t drive while drunk too. I guess they were both high. It was too scary, but they caused it upon themselves, sadly.”
