A disturbing anonymous confession surfaced online where a man claimed he killed his girlfriend after spending over 1.8 million naira on her because she reported him to the EFCC. Rather than condemning the act, one shocking comment read: “I love this.. if I know you bro I will give you one bottle.. some girls are just fullish.” Applauding such a heinous crime is extremely dangerous. No matter the betrayal or financial loss, taking someone’s life can never be justified. Normalizing violence only fuels more tragedies, instead of addressing issues through lawful and humane means. Murder should never be celebrated.
