“Neighborhood kid: Uncle good evening
Me: How far bad guy.”

Many shared their own experiences, some feeling amused or weirded out by being called “uncle.” However, one comment stood out:

“Neighborhood kid: Uncle good evening
Uncle: Ehenn, how you dey? You go chop Cana?
Neighborhood kid: Yes Uncle.”

This comment refers to giving “Cana” (slang for Canadian Loud, a type of marijuana) to kids. While it might have been intended as humor, it crosses a line by trivializing the serious issue of exposing children to drugs.

Interacting with kids in the community is an opportunity to inspire and guide positively. Humor is welcome, but it should never normalize harmful behaviors.
