One insensitive user commented, “Hope say no be men wan do the naked protest,” implying that it’s acceptable if women protest naked, but not men.
This kind of remark trivializes a serious issue. These pensioners are fighting for their rights, not putting on a show for amusement. Reducing their pain and desperation to gender-based jokes shows a lack of empathy and respect.
Mocking a protest meant to demand justice is heartless. When citizens must go to such lengths to be heard, the least we can do is listen — not laugh.
