In response to the chilling confession of a man who killed his girlfriend after she reported him to the EFCC, one comment chillingly read: “e reach pass” — essentially suggesting betrayal justifies murder. That mindset is dangerous and unacceptable. Feeling hurt or betrayed does not grant anyone the right to take a life. Violence destroys families, ruins futures, and evades justice. If someone feels pushed to extremes, the answer is lawful recourse, counselling, or accountability — not blood. We must reject calls for vigilante violence, insist on legal action, and defend the dignity of victims. Life is never payable by revenge.
