It sounds funny on the surface, but comments like this highlight how easily people romanticize unhealthy, self-destructive reactions. Yes, the borrower was clearly wrong — refusing to pay a loan and mocking the lender is manipulative behaviour. But promoting the idea of wasting ten times the amount just to “prove a point” is not strength; it’s emotional impulsiveness disguised as pride.
