No single demon called Ibo will enter our space.” This statement is not only discriminatory but also fuels ethnic hatred. Referring to an entire ethnic group as “demons” dehumanizes them and promotes hostility rather than dialogue. Even if there are disagreements or frustrations, such comments only deepen division and resentment. It’s important to separate individuals’ actions from their tribe — hate speech like this has no place in civil discussions and only damages the fragile unity Nigeria continues to struggle to maintain.
