Such a statement unfairly generalizes and demeans women, yet it also reflects frustrations about prioritizing money over emotional connection.
Both extremes—demanding financial proof of love and labeling preferences as transactional—miss the point. Healthy relationships should neither revolve solely around money nor dismiss genuine concerns about shared responsibilities.
