A viral video showing a lady smashing her man’s car sparked heated discussions online. While many focused on the incident itself, one user took it further by stereotyping, saying, “most black women (especially Nigerians) are nasty, ruthless and chaotic especially those from poor backgrounds.”
This remark is deeply problematic—it unfairly paints an entire race, nationality, and economic class with the brush of one individual’s actions. Such sweeping generalizations fuel racism, sexism, and classism, while ignoring the reality that bad behavior is not tied to race, nationality, or income. Addressing conflicts should focus on the individuals involved, not harmful stereotypes.
