The comment “Nigeria don’t need Igbos” is blatantly hateful, tribalistic, and deeply unpatriotic. Such a statement promotes division, fuels ethnic hostility, and disregards the vital role the Igbo people have played—and continue to play—in Nigeria’s development across business, politics, education, and innovation.
Nigeria is a diverse nation made stronger by its unity. No tribe is inferior or dispensable. To suggest that an entire ethnic group is unwanted is to deny our shared humanity and the foundational principle of coexistence.
