After Bello Sheriff declared that the military regime was nicer than President Tinubu’s administration, one user responded: “Nigeria the country that has no hope of being Great.”
This statement is very discouraging and dismissive. While Nigeria faces real challenges, declaring it a country with no hope kills the spirit of those genuinely working for progress. Nations rise and fall through tough times, but history shows that no country is beyond redemption. Such comments spread despair instead of solutions. Instead of writing Nigeria off, it’s better to push conversations toward accountability, reforms, and citizen-driven change. Negativity doesn’t solve problems — constructive action does.
