After Peter Obi declared support for ADC candidate Mrs. Azuka, whose husband was brutally murdered by kidnappers, one user commented, “No go there go dey razzle the woman from back as her hubby no dey again. Good investment sha.” This remark is highly insensitive and deeply inappropriate. It mocks a grieving widow by implying that political support is a cover for pursuing sexual relations, trivializing both her loss and the seriousness of the situation. Such comments are disrespectful, demeaning, and strip away empathy from public discourse. Tragedies should be met with compassion, not turned into crude jokes or baseless insinuations.
