This kind of statement isn’t just rude — it’s dehumanizing. It strips an entire ethnic group of dignity, identity, and humanity with one careless line. Comments like this are exactly how hatred spreads: someone throws out a blanket insult, another person laughs, and suddenly discrimination starts to feel normal.
It also shows how some people use social media as a comfortable space to spew harm they could never justify offline. Reducing millions of people to nothing is not “banter.” It’s bigotry, and it encourages more division in a country already struggling with ethnic tension.
Dehumanizing any group never solves anything — it only reveals the smallness of the person saying it.
