Following the ongoing tribal tensions online, one user made an insensitive and tribalistic remark saying, “Yariba are more foolish than I think.” This statement is not only disrespectful but also promotes hate and division. Labeling an entire tribe as foolish because of personal bias or online disagreements is a dangerous form of bigotry that undermines national unity.

Every tribe in Nigeria has intelligent, hardworking, and respectable individuals contributing to society. Such comments do nothing but fuel unnecessary hostility and discrimination. Instead of spreading insults, social media users should focus on promoting understanding, respect, and tolerance among ethnic groups. Nigeria can only progress when its people choose unity over hate.
