But instead of building on that, one user commented, “Yoruba go spoil everything with their bigotry mindset.” A statement that dragged tribalism into a discussion that had nothing to do with ethnicity.

This is exactly how meaningful conversations lose focus. When every national issue is turned into a tribal war, progress dies. The fight for justice should unite Nigerians, not divide them along ethnic lines.

Bigotry is not bravery. We can’t fight oppression while promoting hate.
