“Women date for help.”
This statement oversimplifies and stereotypes women’s dating choices. While some individuals may seek financial or emotional support in relationships, it’s wrong to suggest that this is the main reason women date. Many women build relationships based on love, mutual respect, shared values, and companionship — not just help. Men, too, can and do seek partners for assistance, so it’s not a gender-exclusive trait. By reducing women’s intentions to dependency, we ignore the countless examples of strong, equal partnerships. Instead of pushing one-sided narratives, the focus should be on encouraging relationships built on balance, contribution, and genuine connection.
