A post accusing Sowore of setting up Nnamdi Kanu’s brother and lawyer for arrest during a protest sparked heated debate. While many questioned the claim, one user turned it tribal, writing, “Technically it’s true. Fear trust Yoruba people at your own peril.” This kind of comment fuels unnecessary ethnic division. Turning every political or personal issue into a tribal one weakens national unity and promotes hatred. Wrongdoing, if proven, should be judged by individual actions — not by tribe. Stereotyping an entire ethnic group over one person’s alleged act is unfair, dangerous, and deeply unpatriotic. Nigeria needs accountability, not tribal bias.
